-very pleased to remain in zero club - got my PSA results today - 0.05 !!
smithmeek.com/zeroclub.jpg
-I am staying with my anti-cancer diet ( yes, I do like pomegranate juice as well as almonds, etc.) and doing my best to maintain a positive outlook towards life.
yeah
-as stated in another posting here - today's horoscope in our local paper compared the discovery of flight ( and with its advantages and disadvantages - ie. carbon footprint -are you better of with it or without it) to the new developments in my life (prostate cancer) - am I better off with or without prostate cancer -

- just food for thought....

hugs

Congratulations!

Better off without PCa, but I do know what you mean. Every day seems just that little bit different, special etc compared to my view on life two years ago.

Cheers!

many thanks to bob , mike, mikey, cooper, ray for the good wishes and the zero's to come ....

I have learned alot about food and healthier eating .. and how good some of this stuff can be
- fried tomatoes are great ( raw ones are still too icky for me) ..
- and have found even red carrots in the area
- I know I have mentioned the princess margaret hospital and their nutrition guide - but it has helped me feel good about what I eat and, also helped with a positive outlook to conquering this confusing disease called Prostate Cancer.

hugs,

thanks tigre - but please do have the pomegranate juice and almonds separately...

- I made my nibble mix with almonds, cashews, dried apricots, salt free peanuts.
-the pomegranate juice is great as a before dinner drink ( short glass) - the no-name stuff is just as good as the brand name items - just watch out for the sugar levels -

-there is even pomegranate tea as well as green tea - which are both good for you but too much of a diuretic for me ( so have to plan for frequent pee breaks)

-eat well
-think positive thoughts - that old addage of "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade" means a lot to me -
-currently getting ready for fundraiser for Prostate Cancer Canada this weekend -
-working on a musical revue about my journey with PCa

-and as Sonny said - "every day is a bonus"

- it truly is -
