I can't believe anyone could get excited about a penile clamp!! But here goes. Ok, I'm at 10 month post rrp and totally incontinent while up on my feet. I got the dribbles that keep my bladder totally drained, I haven't peed even once during the day in the last ten months. Today I got my J Clamp which a doctor in this same condition in TN invented. I might be jumping the gun a bit but so far ( one day) this thing works and does not hurt, yet. Of all these little torture devices i looked at on the net, this was the most interesting design and, oh yes the most expensive. I looked at it this way, it's about 30 bucks more than cheapest ones that looked like they worked on the principle of a big dictionary ( no pun intented) . As I posted a few days ago I'm going in for testing and evaluation for what's next for me, AUS or whatever. Since I am such a heavy leaker some here have said guys like me might not be totally fixed with the AUS and this little clamp may work in conjunction with the AUS to keep me drier. Well , that is getting ahead of myself but I will give an update on this thing after a while to see I stay excited. Yippee, I can wear shorts again now that summer is over.

Men being the way we are, you can't expect a big stampede to come and join an incontinence thread..I guess I got really lucky and have been dry since the catheter came out.. Hey, if it works, do it!!

Man has to do what he has to do. If you look into the AUS Dr. Bob B. (Michigan uro) installs two interior bands (or whatever they are referred to as) instead of the standard of one, patients had better results and like 100% non-leakage. Here is what I learned on AUS at a PCa seminar gig:

Device will last about 10 yrs., then you may have to have it replaced (silicone wears)
Hidden pump device in scrotum (you can decide which side if you like)
60 min. proceedure with around 96% recommendation rate from prior patients
3-small incisions made to do this, basically hidden
you can never ride a bicycle again (can wear and ruin this device is claimed)
takes 4-6 weeks to heal after surgery is done (not super quick healing)
insurance and gov't insurance usually covers the whole deal
device has been around for decades now and used for moderate to severe incontinence

You might have to seriously consider such, but having absolute control is priceless.
Dx-2002 total urinary blockage, bPsa 46.6 12/12 biopsies all loaded 75-95% vol.; Gleasons scores 7,8,9's (2-sets), gland size 35, ct and bone scans look clear- ADT3 5 months prior to radiations neutron/photon 2-machines, cont'd. ADT3, quit after 2 yrs. switched to DES 1-mg, off 1+ yr., controlled well, resumed, used intermittently, resumed useage

Zufus, this clamp "sphincter" seems to be doing the job for now but if the dr doing the evaluation in my coming appointment recomends the AUS I will get in line for the implantion. The others here seem to very pleased with theit implantations and I'm at the point where something needs to be done. THanks for the info on the double bands. I will discuss that if he thinks I am a canidate.
On another note, I am a born tinkerer an seeing all the different clamps designs out there, it naturally got me thinking. Who knows, maybe there will be a ron-clamp on the internet?
Jeff, you must be going to my old uro, the one decimal psa look familiar. My next psa will be x.xx
