Hello everyone.  I'll never forgot how much this forum helped me when I got the hammer in the chest four years ago at age 57. "You have Prostate Cancer", those dreaded words. Most everyone that was here four years ago have moved on with life, and that is a good thing.  PSA before surgery was 4.5 Gleason 7 Stage T1

My PSA after surgery is as follows:

one year 0.02

two years 0.04

three year 0.05

four years 0.06

I had the DaVinci Robot and everything is now working fine. I never had any incontinence problems. I am able to have intercourse without pills or a pump. I used the vacurect pump for therapy and intercourse. It took over two years to recover from the ED. I have not used the pump for over 1 1/2 years.  I hope this helps to encourage someone to keep on keeping on do your excercises and tell those you care about you love them. God Bless you folks that are just getting to go through this process. This is a universal truth. "Every seed of adversity carries forth with it a greater or equivalent benefit." W. Clement Stone

Hi Pontiac.

Congratulations on your 4 year anniversary. I  too was diagnosed in
September 2006, but had a recurrence and SRT in 2008. Hoping for many more of these happy occurrences for both of us (and every one else of cause).

All the best to you.

Congratulations on 4 years cancer free! We both joined the forum at about the same time. I remember you well from 4 years ago. I hit the 4-year mark in June. Take care and stay well.

Pontiac,
Thank-you for taking the time to post such encouraging news for us all. I hope I have the same opportunity and peace of mind to come back in four years time, and give encouragement to those just starting their journey. Congratulations on the zero's.

Hi "56" I remember your three year post and I'm glad to see you're not so fussed this time. I also remember clicking on your web site and listening to some great music --- at least I hope I've got you pegged right. At my age, and with my memory ...... ????

Anyways, congratulations on another great PSA report. I'll be thrilled to be doing as well when I hit four years on the other side.
