This afternoon I got a call from Kbota.  He was staying the night in Baton Rouge and we managed to have dinner together.  This guy is first class.  Some how I knew that was going to be the case by his post.
When I pulled into the parking lot of the hotel I called his phone to let him know that I was there waiting for him.  His question was "Is that you in that black vette?"  I told him I did not see a tractor in the parking lot but figured he could find me in the vette.
So now at least one of my borthers on HW have actually put their eyes on my plastic car. :-)
Thanks Kbota for a very nice evening.

Now I'm starting to get the big head about that "first class" remark. I'll be hard to get along with now for the rest of today.

The tractor doesn't get good enough fuel mileage to drive 150 miles, plus it steers funny at 70 mph on I-10. Guess I better get that front end alligned again. And, not only did I lay eyes on that beautiful vette, .......After riding in that sleek sexy batmobile car, I am convinced that it would probably out run my tractor, therefore,....I challenge him to a pulling contest. :)

However, I better think this over carefully.....It sure would be embarrasing if I lost....he he

All kidding aside, it was a fantastic evening Jeff, and I so enjoyed the great conversation. It was engaging and uplifting. and oh yeah,....the food was fantastic too.

We'll do it again sometime.

psst to the forum; Jeff had oysters for dinner. Ya'll know what they say about oysters huh?
