Fredy, the risk of injections is, in my opinion, high. One does not need an erect, but bent, penis. Obviously you only received the two bends. Ouch.
My very experienced implant surgeon (a reconstruction urologist-specialist) recommended both implants at the same time. He does lots of these things (make sure to find a very experienced surgeon if you proceed). Made sense to me. Why go through two surgeries in the same location when one will do for both implants? Made sense to me and I'm sure glad both implants are in place. My recovery time before I could use the implants was about 5.5 weks.
Yes, there are a couple of more companies who make implants and AMS also makes an 800 LGX, in addition to the CX. It seems most guys are getting the LGX but my surgeon still prefers the CX. He says the only time he recommends the LGX is for guys with smaller penises than mine (brag, brag, brag, but I still miss the old length). The LGX is supposed to expand a bit longer but it is not as rigid as the CX. Also, the CX seems to increase the girth. But because I had the prostate surgery, I did end up losing about 3/4 inches in length (removing the prostate, pulling the urethra together for re-attachment).
Yes, the AUS can/does wear out in time. But all that is USUALLY needed (and according to my uro/surgeon) is a replacement of the cuff around the urethra. But when mine begins leaking again to the degree it is not acceptalble, I'll hopefully have the cuff replaced, or whatever part is needed. These implants are devices engineered & built by human & imperfect hands. Our Creator does a much better job.
Be sure to do a search on AUS and penile implants. You'll gain lots of information.
