I am looking for any advice from anyone that might know of a supplemental insurance company that will cover a penile implant. I am getting ready to start medicare in December and from what I understand Medicare will pay 80%. Hopefully, that is correct. Not sure if there is a waiting period with medicare or a supplemental company .  Any advice at all would be helpful.

Thanks

Might want to also ask about preexisting conditions to make sure they are covered.

Kyle, most part B medigap policies cover the 20% not paid by medicare.  Go to the official medicare site:  http://www.medicare.gov/find-a-plan/questions/medigap-home.aspx.  Implants are fully covered by medicare and medigap policies in my area.   I would certainly ask about preexisting conditions.

Thanks for the information. I will check on that. I have a spinal injury that has caused my problems. I already have an artificial sphincter that I had put in last year but, the insurance company I was with would not cover a penile implant. I had to fight them just to cover the sphincter. Again thanks for the info.
