I just got my latest PSA after radiation and it has droped from .47 to .24. This is 3 months post radiation. My PSA at the start of radiation was 1.0. I hope and pray the trend continues. Maybe I am knocking on the door of the zero club.
DX age 58
PSA 5.4
Gleason 5+4 = 9
City of Hope Clinical Trial (punch protocol). 6 sessions textore every 3 weeks + lupron
PSA .1
RP Oct 2009. Seminal Invasion positive margins. Lymphnods clear.
1 month PSA post op undetectable.
4 month PSA undetectable.
7 month PSA .5
Bone scan and CT scan negative. Prosticint scan mild activity in prostate bed.
EBRT May 2010. 39 sessions 70gy. On number 37.

sounds like a good trend to me! don't despair, 3 months is still pretty early in the radiation process...would expect it to continue downward for awhile...

Upgrade Gleason Score 4+3=7 Gleason Differential 60%/40%
Stage T2c Three small foci total volume <10%
Neg Margins and Nodes
Nil - EPE
Dry less than 1 week. ED- okay with Meds.
PSA at 18mths no change remains 0.03

Thumbs up for your down :-). The downward trend obviously means that the
target was hit and the bad cells are dying a slow death. Sure hope the trend
continues.

Downward trend is good. Keep it up.
Age: 67 at Dx on 12/30/08 PSA 3.8
2 cores out of 12 were positive Gleason (4+4)
Davinci surgery 2/9/09 Gleason 4+4 EPE,
Margins clear, nerve bundles removed
Prostate weighed 57 grams 10-20% involved
all PSA tests since (2, 5, 8, 11, 15, 18 months) undetectable
Latest PSA test (21 months) .005

My PSA at diagnosis was 16.3
age 47 (current)

My gleason score from prostate was 4+5=9 and from the lymph nodes (3 positive) was 4+4=8
I had 44 IMRT's
I was on Lupron, Casodex, and Avodart for two years with my last shot March 2009. I am currently (7-22-2010) not on any medication.
My Oncology hospital is The Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion IL
PSA July of 2007 was 16.4
PSA May of 2008 was.11
PSA July 24th, 2008 is 0.04
PSA Dec 16th, 2008 is .016
PSA Mar 30th, 2009 is .02
PSA July 28th 2009 is .01

PSA Jan 15th 2010 is .13
PSA April 16th of 2010 is .16
PSA July 22nd of 2010 is .71
Testosterone keeps rising, the current number is 156, up from 57 in May
