Hello all, I phoned in for my latest PSA results, continuing to move down from the spike post biopsy to 4.33. See the Uro on the 22nd. He indicated last visit that if the PSA continued to fall we would wait another three months and test again, if it rose at all we were going for a second biopsy. It is only up .21 from my original baseline a year and a half ago so if it stays stable I can have some comfort that if it is there it may some time before I need to deal with it. Yes, I am an optomist! Hope everyone is doing well. greg

Your plan sounds good..The PSA 4.3 and FPSA 4% means you need to keep a sharp eye on this..

Not all men can benefit from having a Color Doppler Ultrasound but in cases like yours, it might be worthwhile..Also, you might contact Abbott labs, Quest labs too, and ask them when the "Four Gene Signature Urine Test" will be available. This simple urine test can spot PC very early and very reliably, avoiding unnecessary biopsies..
