Attached in the link below is the current staging for prostate cancer clearly defined from the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC). I know that someone had asked recently about this so I thought I would share this.

I notice that some of you state having stage 3C prostate cancer. This was dropped in later years and stage 3B is the same thing now. The last manual that had a stage 3C was AJCC1992 but it is stilled used by some pathologists today.

Thanks Tony,

One observation though:
Is there not also an "MX" classification for when there has been no investigation to see if there is or is not metastasis?

Good catch Alf,
There is not an Mx classification in the poster, but there sure is in my Dx. I went back and reviewed the manual and sure enough there is an Mx classification for undetermined mets.

Hey Alf, I want to thank you for all the great welcomes here at HW you have sent out. We have two active mods here and it's really hard to catch them all and I stopped trying to be that thorough because this board really has been busy over the last couple years.

If anyone sees a newbie welcome them in a new thread. A team effort can go a long way...

I just may make a post about that. But Alf and a couple others have really picked up the slack...

Thanks indeed.

Tony
