I am not sure what your question means.  When prostate cancer metatastizes, it is often (though not always) to the bone.  This typically -- at leat eventually -- causes pain.  There are ways to address that pain, including targeted ("spot") radiation.

My dad had some pain with pelvis/hip and femur as it has spread. Dad said it was a constant dull ache, he took anti-inflamatory tabs daily as he was due a hip replacement opp so we had assumed the pain was due to this. Dad had lived with the pain for many months but we had no idea he had cancer. Now on HT the pain has completely gone so not sure if it was his hip or the cancer, (dad had his other hip replaced 5 yrs ago and thought pain was the same sort of pain). Not sure if this helps or answers your question but I hope it makes some sense

Yes, thanks. I have heard that as cancer spreads it causes bone pain
but I didn't really know how that worked or what it was.

The first uro/surgeon that I went to for the biopsy made it sound like if
I didn't have surgery it would be like being tortured on a medieval rack.
