If I could link this, I would.

Very interesting article in Vanity Fair about the out-sourcing of clinical trials and how it could affect American people in the future.

Some of the statements are truly frightening, IMO.

To find the article, please click on Most Emailed and it's the top story called Deadly Medicine.

Maybe someone could link it for me?  Thankyou

Thanks for the links fellas.

Did anyone read it?  What do you think of this out-sourcing of clinical trials?

Personally, I'd like to know what standards are being used to gather the information and the downsides.

I read the article. I was "not impressed" by the "outsourcing" by drug companies. Paying $21 per Cialis pill, I don't have much respect for them anyway. I'll not say anything else lest it start yet another ugly thread.

OTOH, it is often difficult to recruit participants.

There are very strong requirements regarding informed consent and a thorough explanation, in the prospect's language, of all details.

Simply go to http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/home and explore and learn. Never never trust a "reporter."

BTW, Vanity Fair is a notorious leftist enterprise.
