I don't get out much at night, or get into too many social situations.  But this evening, I went to a Cancer Fund Raising Event here in Greenville called "Hallraiser: Punch Cancer in the Face".  They were raising money for a family in dire need because of breast cancer and raising funds for the ACS.

They had a pretty steep admision price for the attendees, and a lot of blind auctions going on.  The big draw, was there were 4 local bands performing for free, including the one that my two sons are part of, "Din of Thieves".

My duty was too a high level HD video of the event, so I got to be on the stage the whole time.  Fortunately, I did have a chair to rest  on, in between fiddling with the camera setup.

Looks like they raised a lot of money.  Now I have to edit and render the film, will give me something to do this weekend.

Failed to mention, when the band was about to start, my youngest surprised me and told the crowd how his father was here, and has been battling prostate cancer for over two years. I probably turned as red as the red on the jacket I was wearing. What a good boy.

The band wanted one large HD clip for promotional purposes, havent had the chance to render it yet. Will see if I can break off a clip small enough for You-tubes 10 minute limit.
