Just a brief account for being just five years (57 years old, fit and healthy) from nerve sparing (?) prostectectomy. I had surgery in July 2005 and was full continent by October 2005. There were dribbles here or there when rising from chairs, laughing, etc. I started using Cialis the second or third week after surgery with no results! Not even a tingling in the groin! Started using Viagra every other day in September 2006 and the pump with the ring. Able to get a solid erection but it was not an acceptable method for my wife and me. Was more successful with x-rated pleaseur ereading and pleasuring self. Had a great sex life prior to surgery with my spouse but *********d even then on the side (actually all my life). Performing oral sex was tolerated on my wife when it was a part of a full love making session was agreeable. Since surgery she has not been agreeable. Lots of frustration.

Enter injections about March 2007 and we seem to have the magic panacea! Works well when we 'planned' dates to be able to inject and be prepared within thirty minutes or so. Good, strong erection tool! It works better for me when combined with either Cialis or Viagra. During this period a rising PSA becomes a concern. Rising from .02 to .07 in the span of about a year. It had been stated that if it began to rise radiation should be considered prior to it rising to 1.0 or above. Took 7-8 weeks of radiation from mid October through nid December 2008. No desire at all on my part for any type of sexual stimulation, a really down time. The good news is my PSA was back down to< .01 but no energy and, fortunately no major side effects. I lost about 12 pounds due to no appetite and I continuesd to run/walk almost daily to keep my daily regiman and worked through the period. Severla days I could not work after radiation. The good news is that the disire is back but not as strong as before. Cialis and Viagra provide a 60-70% erection for self pleasure but the injection is required for a full blown erection. Also, the injection works now whether I have Cialis or Viagra. This has been theraupic!
