six month PSA update after IMRT and seeds

I just got my 6 month PSA results today. 2.78

The nurse said it was a good thing as it was still going down. :-)
age 57 2/2010
PSA 8.2 2/2010
biopsy 2/2010 - 2 of 8 left & 2 of 8 right positive, Gleason 3+4=7
attended support group - advised to get a second opinion
second opinion on pathology from Johns Hopkins 4+4=8
PSA 15 4/2010
5 weeks IMRT 4/2010-6/2010 at Copley Hospital in Aurora, IL
91 palladium 103 seeds 7/2010 at Chicago Prostate Center, Westmont, IL
PSA 3.97 10/2010
no ED or incontinence

Post Op. GS(3+4)=7, 1.1cm3, Pos Margins, EPE (focal) Lateral Left
MI(xtensive) Post, Grade3 x 8mm
+8week PSA<0.01, ED-85%, Incont-30%
+16W PSA<0.01, ED -85%, Cont -5%
+17W First 'DRY' day. ED -90%
+26W ED -60%

Only issue at this time is ED but getting better

fulltlt, very glad to hear that those numbers are on the downward trend. Now just keep em moving in that direction. Hope you have some really great Holy days/holidays and enjoy those current cold temps/snow.

Age: 67 at Dx on 12/30/08 PSA 3.8
2 cores out of 12 were positive Gleason (4+4)
Davinci surgery 2/9/09 Gleason 4+4 EPE,
Margins clear, nerve bundles removed
Prostate weighed 57 grams 10-20% involved
all PSA tests since (2, 5, 8, 11, 15, 18 months) undetectable
Latest PSA test (21 months) .005

This is good news indeed!  My docs told me that they would be "delighted" if the PSA dropped by 1/2 during the first 6 months.  Obviously you beat the heck out of that.  Celebration is warranted!!!

Age 62 (64 now), G 3 + 4 = 7, T1C, PSA 4.2, 2/16 cancerous, 27cc. Brachytherapy 12/9/08. 73 Iodine-125 seeds. Procedure went great, catheter out before I went home, only minor discomfort. Everything continues to function normally as of 12/8/10. PSA: 6 mo 1.4, 1 yr. 1.0, 2 yr. .8. My docs are "delighted"! My journey:

Dx: in 6/2005, 49 yrs old (54 now), PSA 4.1, 2/10 cores pos, G6, T1c
bone scan: negative
daVinci RRP 8/2005, Hartford Hospital
Post-surgery upgraded G7 (3+4), pT2c, NX,MX, neg. margins, PNI present, tumor focally invades capsule wall, but not entirely through it.
PSA All <0.1 until... 7/2009 0.1, 10/2009 0.2, 1/2010 0.2, 2/2010 0.14, 4/2010 0.16, 8/2010 0.25, 9/2010 0.23, 12/2010 0.22
