........so, since it doesn't interfere with the HT, and we know that vit. D deficiency is chronic here in Canada, we are hoping this will help since it doesn't hurt. All too recent to tell right now.
Thanks for the observations - I do hope that all goes well, and do keep us informed.
It is interesting how the doctors respond to "Natural Therapies".
-- Now I am primarily interested in strong Anti-Oxidants... but completely agree with Vit-D and C and E and B's surely can't hurt
My U-Doc said that "It will do nothing", but then said to be sure to stop taking it befor the RP.
I have heard of various Specialists saying that "It won't help, and won't harm - Go for it if it makes you feel good !"
and then I have other say - you must stop during RT, and Chemo.
and then others suggesting that it's fine to take in conjunction with RT and Chemo, as it will help mitigate some of the side effects. ie help with general "Well-Being".
Have any folk got any comments on attitudes of specialists.
My feeling - Supporting doctors see only good, and the doubters/knockers say it will do nothing, but show their doubts by saying - "be sure to stop", just in case it has some effect.
