I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same progression that I have. My marriage split right after my surgery so I have been alone for the duration of my rehab. My Uro started me out on cialis twice a week right after surgery. After a few months I added the VED to the rehab and then a few months ago he started me on tri-mix. After a few months I was getting a partial erection with self stimulation but it took a long time and it did not happen on until right before I O***ed. The last few months I have gotten a full erection but it slowly increases in size with stimulation right up to O and it lasts for a minute or so. I have met someone that I would like to see on a personal level. My question is has anyone else seen this type of recovery and does it get better so as to require less stimulation down the road?

Springer, welcome to this site.  I hope your cancer control and incontinence are also doing well.

From my personal experience, the short answer to your question is "yes."  Things change & improve with time.  Erectile function for me was much better at 1 year & 3 months than at 3 months post surgery.  Continuous improvement with time.

hope that helps...

I really can't say what it will do. However, I would imagine the possibility of the excitement of a new situation with a new woman would be at least as stimulating as your hand, or whatever is now. Good luck when you try it.
