Yesterday I heard from the man that was best man at my wedding that his wife died from Liver Cancer yesterday.

On Sunday our Golden Retreiver Lily died from Lymp Cancer. I had posted earlier about Lily and she went very fast and died at the foot of our bed.

I hate this cancer stuff!

Hi Larry, sad news indeed. We got word yesterday that a dear friend's pancreatic cancer is back after two years clean and the hope he was one of the rare lucky ones.

I too hate this cancer stuff. I wonder if the government would declair a "I Hate Cancer" week?

Sorry to hear that Larry. Lost my Mother Jan. 2, but not from cancer, and that really doesnt make it any easier. Hope to dedicate my life purpose and what time I have left to my family as a testimony of my love for them.

Sending thoughts and prayers you way! Life is so hard sometimes! I know my dog soaked up a lot of my tears when my father was dx. I can't even think about her passing away. They really are the most loyal, lovable animals. Sorry for your loss.

Larry, Sorry about your friend. I wish we can find a cure for this monster. I lost a sister and a wife to Leukemia and have a niece with liver cancer.

I have two long term freinds that both lost their mothers in the last week.

I'm going to go visit my mom this weekend. Its amazing what joy it brings to her when I show up with burgers and shakes.

Larry,

Sorry to hear about Lily. We lost one several years ago to cancer, too.

Sorry to hear about your friend's wife and all the others, too. It seems cancer is everywhere.

My mother's not doing well with pancreatic cancer. She is supposed to be having surgery to remove part of her pancreas and spleen in less than 2 weeks. She has lost so much weight, I'm not sure she'll be strong enough to to recover. But, there is hope...

Larry, I'm very sorry to hear of your losses. Three years ago just before my date with the robot, we had to have one of our Golden's put to sleep because of Cancer, and it was so rough on our family. While being sure everything was in order before the surgery, I had arranged with my friend the Funeral Director that should something go wrong, my Golden's urn could be put in the box with me!

Cancer is so cruel and having lost my Mother to Ovarian cancer ( who had beat Breast cancer 20 years earlier) I have seen the terrible things that cancer robs from it's victims, and hope to live to see the day we find a cure. Live life to its fullest!
