Naz the son, (edited now to be the wife), are you, Just Bob (formerly Not so Brave Bob) and Tony04 suffering from some sort of multiple personality disorder? Seriously mate, you are in dire need of urgent psychiatric assistance.

I feel sorry for you Just Bob/Not so Brave Bob/Tony04/naz but replying to yourself on posts and visiting your alter ego's house (in a recent post) is just very strange. It's not very nice because we don't know which parts of your story are true and which ones are not and I think everyone here was extremely genuine in trying to help tony04/just bob/not so brave bob and I am sure plenty of people will feel like they have been duped.

I am not sure how you benefit from this.

I wish you all the best with your prostate situation and recommend that you seek professional help regarding the issues that Billy raised.

Regards,
An

I figured out some time ago that Bob and Tony were one and the same, but didn't know what to do about it. I knew it was only a matter of time before it imploded.

As one of the ones who offered comfort to Bob and praise to Tony, I have to say that this makes me think twice about posting on public forums.

Don't let this fraud and fake ruin the openess and caring spirit of HW. Not the first time this has happened. Our answers to him were given with an honest heart under false pretense. The shame is on him. I am sure the moderators and owner have well taken care of the problem.

We still need to keep on helping those in needs, the bad apples tend to float to the surface on their own.

Therre are people that will do anything for attention. They are starved and need serious help. I do hope that the moderators have been able to block this posters IP address from HW. This board is too helpful to many to be distroyed by one individual that either things it a joke or is so mentally disturbed that they think it funny to mess with peoples lives.

To the regular PCa involved people we can not allow this to tear down this woonderful site. I personally have met several of the guys on HW and hosting the GFMPH in April. in Louisiana. I look foward to that time meating new members.

Not sure I caught any of this, but if we were duped in the name of helping and didnt lose any money, so be it. James handled it well and like others have suggested, get some professional help.

>>Therre are people that will do anything for attention. They are starved and need serious help.<<

there are people that want/need help and others just want attention....e.g., periodiodically they want to be talked off the ledge.  on these types of forums you are going to have folks that are suffering from fear and depression, hoplessness and despair or may just be high on medication. that's just the way it is.

this story quickly did not pass the sniff test for me.  and when i find a person out on the ledge -- yet again --  and me finally saying "jump da** it jump" -- i now use the ignore button.  mostly i'm here for me.

F8, you are describing what's been called a borderline personality disorder. Even though the anonymity of the internet can lead to more inappropriate behavior, nevertheless it's a heck of a lot easier to deal with this behavior on the internet, then in real life, face to face. Easier to push the ignore button.

I guess I really didn't pick up on it that much.

I'm not going to change my HW behavior. If I can help someone, fine.

I guess I'm feeling kind of dumb.  In my old job, which included editing duties, I was sometimes called "Captain Cautious" because it was my policy to check everything before going to press with it.  Now I feel like I have a big "S" tattooed on my forehead.  Congratulations to whoever caught on to this.

I'm quite annoyed at having been duped. What did I miss? How can avoid being snookered in the future?

I think it is a joke -- unless Mel really is you, and you're now trying to cover up turn

But more seriously, I too was taken in by Bob/Tony -- obviously I'm not as sharp as as some of the other eagle eyes on here.

I don't doubt that Bob/Tony has PCa, and I accept that can screw up our emotional state and cause us to do strange things. I'm prepared to forgive and forget.

Bob.Tony: I for one would welcome you back as New Bob (or whatever) but please, no more sock puppets :-)

Kev,
Perhaps I am lacking in compassion but I prefer Bob the Bulls*it Artist. I don't think he had it at all but was playing some twisted little game. It all came apart when he started visiting the breast cancer section.

Piano,

I assure you that Mel and I are not the same person. I have worked hard all my life to be the odd duck out, and to be an a**hole, no one is going to take that away from me!

I had wondered about several things.  1. How did Tony04 find out where "Bob" lived?  2.  In one post, we were told Tony had visited Bob and, as I recall, brought a lot of groceries.  However he was unable to talk Bob into going to the E.R.  In a subsequent post, though, Bob said that Tony had, indeed, taken him to the E.R.  I remember wondering if Tony had made one visit or two?  And just how far was Tony driving to see old Bob?

I guess I assumed they had emailed off-line and exchanged addresses.

I even wondered if bursitis induced by anesthetics makes any sense.  Is there a bursa in the hip area?  Dunno.

I can't imagine what Bob/Tony/Naz could do at this point to re-establish credibility.  As the old saying goes, fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.  Well, he's already fooled us more than twice.

Since I have a stoma now (Urostomy) I was visiting that section of HW for a while to try to learn about my new lifestyle change. BTW, not real friendly there to newcomers, as they mostly cater to people with Colostomies, urostomies like me.

Anyway, they had a regular there (while I was visiting) that faked and entire sucide on HW. He kept buidling up to doing it, then he posted (and I saw this first hand) that he had done himself in, in his final thread, right down to his last breath.

I realize that the guy was sick and hurting, and needed real help, but that was a terrible thing to put people through. When I suggested that it was in clear violations of the forumn rules, the mod there was threatening to take action against me! That was the last of the visits from me.

There were a lot of signs here too with Tony-Bob-whoever really knows, but I wasn't clever enough to put it together. I was a little suspicious of the personal visit part so fast, but it could have happened. I live close to several brothers of ours here locally, and if needed would go to them in a heart beat. We all hate being fooled like this, not funny at all.

Geeeeesh!

All this passed me by like a ship in the night .....

But, it leaves me wondering: Might I really be Purgatory (who also goes by the name of Dave) or Mel, (who might be complier) or even NotHard (sometimes known as Kev) ????

It's difficult enough being "Sheldon AKA Sleepless" much less wondering if I'm really .... well, I don't know.
