I think we need to really look hard at not allowing any recommendations from first time posters, beyond the usual website or product placement to people who are first timers and tauting the skills of individual surgeons, or clinics, etc.
What do you guys think about
it being a blanket policy that stuff like these recent posters did will not be allowed until they post a few times, participate in the forum, etc.? I see no problem with this approach myself. There's a big difference in my mind with a poster who has been here a little while, maybe done 10 to 12 posts, and showed an interest in hanging with us being allowed to recommend their doctors, hospitals, etc, but I do have a problem with first timers. It's just spam, in my opinion, no matter how it is dressed up.
Tony, Doting Daughter and I will be discussing this and decide what to do, so what's your guys input to this?
