NEIrish still has nearly complete ed and is taking Viagra.  We're "working on it" and trying to stay optimistic.
However, there is a sensation that has been happening the last several times after orgasm.  He has a stinging sensation inside the penis at the last inch or so.  Not so painful he's hesitant about being frisky, but definitely an annoyance.  It lasts "full - strength" about 30-40 seconds, then disappears completely after a minute.  No other problems,  but we're curious.  I've not seen it posted before, despite my pretty close monitoring here.  Anyone else experience this?

Possible UTI comes to mind.

My experience was similar but different. Used to be, as I approached 100%
"full", I got a sharp pain. I think it was in the last inch. Faded as I shrank. Doc said more healing needed to take place. Took months for this to gradually go away. My nonexpert theory is that with the urethra being shorter, I got to a point where it was being stretched, and that hurt.
Diagnosis at 53. PSA 2007 about 2; 2008 4.3

Thank you for your replies (and humor, Mr. G). DJB's may be closest to what my husband is experiencing since at the very beginning of it all NEIrish described a "pain". There is no other symptom at any other time, so it seems doubtful it is a UTI.

I experience that pain. I think it is just some irritation at the end of the urethra caused by friction. In the past semen would have pushed out anything causing the irritation, not so now that it's a dry hole.
The theory is easy to check by climaxing without intercourse.
