Jitters,
Welcome aboard. i did IMRT after surgery and had to deal with a small amount of fatigue. So small that I didn't notice it until after my therapy when I started feeling a bit more energy. I was also on hormone therapy so there may have been the triple combination of surgery/HT/radiation in a 6 month period. Which is in retrospect very understandable.

Welcome to HealingWell...

Welcome Jitters........I'm not in the group that has had radiation following surgery, so i can't be of much help there. Just wanted to say Hi, and that you're in a good place for support and info. Others who have experience will be along shortly to chime in...........

Jitters99,

I did DaVinci followed by IGRT (no HT).
Follow the link in my sig. for the daily journal.
I did manage to have all the general side effects, to varying degrees.

My post-op incontinence had not gone to 0 when I started IGRT, and it has worsened a bit. Bowel issues, fatigue, and weakened immune system have all visited me, but none are real show-stoppers. None have made me look back and regret my treatment choices. That could change (I am 7 months from the end of IGRT), but I'll continue expecting the best until proven wrong.

Welcome to HealingWell.
