This is known stuff already as to possible risks and PCa has some mirror or overlinks to breast cancers, for comparison type issues (hormonal things etc.) BCRa1 and BCRa2 are known about
. Family histories of breast or PCa has some risk factor, linkage.
There are various reasons for PCa, and various pathways to currently influence the cells, read about
dendretic cells and PCa. You can find Journal Articles on such and I have read a few of them, of course I am not Mensa ready and it is over my head...but I can understand concepts to some degree, as an average caveman. Someone on here might be able to boil it down into the Kings English....like English Alf...to whereby the average USA chap might see it more clearly. He does have a way with the words, sincerely...maybe Alf has some info on this. Maybe Tony C. has more on this and some weblinks, I could find some links but not into it right now.
The vaccines like Provenge are finding ways to have dendretic cells and receptors take in certain properties to affect the PCa cells, either for apoptosis (cell death) or change the PCa DNA back to your original cell composition are some of the current theories on fixing us up.
This is no doubt the beginning of repairing PCa...how soon is the question!
PCa is common in men, many never know they have it. If you live to be 80 around 80% of men would be found with some version of it...fyi.
Don't freak out....alot of us are just unlucky..we are influenced by environmental factors, phony food additives and hormones and less clean air and lousy diets...these contribute to PCa and other cancers. Some jobs have higher risks for contracting PCa, interesting to know about
