Hey I wanted to share this, I know some of the guys herein like Tony C. and Todd Seals and some others play guitars and sing and me too.  Can't quit the passion of music, of various genres.  Here is the link youtube to my nephew Jamie P., he also has his screen actors guild card and has been on George Lopez show, once on Lorenzo Lamas Renegade- motorcycle good guy t.v. show, done a few advertising videos and won a date on 'Meet the Parents' t.v. show(a few years back).

He has been singing and playing for years, hung out in California for years been around guys like Blink 182 and stuff.  Well it may just be his ticket and turn coming now.  Group name is (lol)  Early Melodic Animals.  The drummer is the guy from Jane's Addiction (a brand name group these days).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-raoOeTKcs      (he is the lead singer, writer of all songs)

I did say it was way off topic, he needs a real break at this juncture in his life, hope this is it!

The album may be out in one month or so, fyi. cool

Hi zufus,

I've been a music pro for over 30 years and that clip is good.
The people in the band are pretty well known, sounds like it may do something.
Hope so,
Mike

That is what I kind of hear on this, glad you have the ear and heads up to know potential. Nice to hear, I know I probably should not post it on here, but I seldom have great news within the family. I cannot brag about my psa scores either (lol), although they aren't to bad for BCR. Like Randy Jackson would say, thanks dog.

Hero- I got your email and will keep you in the loop. Interesting email name too? Hope your son has fun with being a rocker, I was in the preverbial rock band back in high school glory days and it was a blast. Got to Deja Vu that recently as an old fart, playing a gig at a local bar, in the preverbial 'Grey Hair Jam Band' although a couple of us had only a little grey. Still fun at any age.

As a music man yourself I figured you might get a kick out of it (see I plugged you and Todd as music guys and myself too), even though our particular music might be alittle different.
I have an open acoustic players jammin thing, through www.meetup.com , you can start your own meets ups for anything. Music, art, games, dancing, outdoor stuff, dog lovers, thi chi, karate, or even PCa...you can name your own genre and get it started..does cost some money for it though. You can join various groups therein, try searching www.meetup.com and the various genres...interesting if nothing else.  I guess they got a free ad....LOL!

Bob you have already sold a few albums just on my Facebook page. I know I'll be getting the album, too. I liked when Riz said when he heard the demo he knew he was going to produce it even if your nephew and Dan only had ten bucks. I agree with everybody here, very soulful excellent music.

Well my nephew J.D. , had like no money for this, so either Ritz or a friend producer behind him put up the money on this from what I know, my brother will have to inform me a little more on the details. The is some big talk going on right now, which is rather exciting.

Wow, really good stuff. I can hear the SoCal influence. I'm 51 and play bass in a rock band with a bunch of thirty somethings. I keep up just fine, tho.
Tell him he rocks!

Steve- I also play and sing soft rock, songs from groups like America, Eagles, Moody Blues, Neil Young and at age 60 now still got it enough to actually hear some acolades and no tomatoes thrown. So, hats off too you man...one is never to old. 'Youth is wasted on the young'-W.C. Fields It is fun at any age and any genre of music.

Check this out Southfield High School in Michigan had the band THE WHO play there back in like 1965, I was there near front row.....they were newbies to the USA back then...they also wrecked there equipment at the end Townsend is the master at that gig. Yeah high school!

Zufus,
My son was the drummer on a band called "Deep Blue Something", they had a hit song called "Breakfast at Tiffany". He now has a record label company called "Kirtland Records". I will email him the info.

Yeah Ed I think most of us have heard that song and it was good one. Thanks, maybe they should talk and all that insiders stuff. You gotta be proud of that! Thanks again.

BUMPED (I'm pumped) The new cd and website for them is out as of today. If you were interested you could checkout the music (9) songs all original stuff.

I did say it was in another galaxy topic wise (lol).  Maybe your younger kids would like this, I actually like it, the songs Empty, Ocean, Feel Low, Julian, Peace of Mind are among my liking.
