Got my second post-surgery test results today.  PSA was <0.1!  :-)

Age 67

Routine physical at PCP office, with DRE and PSA Test. PSA 2.5, small growth felt on right side
Urologist performed TRUS biopsy 9/17/09,samples sent to Bostwick Labs
Results received from lab indicated PCa 9/24/09
3 of 12 samples 80% Gleason 3+3=6 on the right side
1 of 12 samples 70% Gleason 3+3=6 on the right side
2 of 12 samples 60% Gleason 3+3=6 on the right side
2 of 12 samples 50% Gleason 3+3=6 on the left side
1 of 12 samples 5% Gleason 3+3=6 on the left side
3 of 12 samples benign on the left side
CT scan and bone scan negative
Consultation at Johns Hopkins with Dr. Alan Partin 10/20/09
open RRP at Johns Hopkins by Dr. Partin 11/06/09, right nerve bundle removed, left spared
One night in hospital, back to hotel room for three days before flying home
Foley catheter removed 11/16/09
Post-surgery pathology shows PCa was organ-contained, lymph nodes negative, seminal vesicles negative, negative margins Gleason score 3+3=6, stage T1c
First post-surgery PSA first week of February 2010. Using one pad during day and one at night as of 1/28/10
Pad-free 3/3/10
No luck with the erectile dysfunction.
2/4/10 First post-surgery PSA - <0.1
2/8/11 Second post-surgery PSA - <0.1

Latest: 6 Corr Surgeries to Bladder Neck, SP Catheter since 10/1/9, SRT 39 Sess/72 gy ended 11/09, 21 Catheters, Ileal Conduit Surgery 9/23/10

Path. Report- G7 (3+4)Adenocarcinoma, no capsular involvement, seminal vesicles clear, lymph nodes clear, negative margins
Continent at 3 mos.------ED improving
PSA at 2 yrs-<0.1

Diagnosis Results – Oct 31, 2007;
•Age – 53 (turned 54 in Nov 2007)
•PSA is 3.83
•Gleason's Grade - 3+3=6, T1C

Surgery Dec 11, 2007;
•Cancer confirmed on Right mid and Left apex
•Both nerve bundles spared, some damage to the Left bundle.
•30 day PSA, .01
•90 day PSA, .00
•Latest PSA, .04
•ED treatments: Levitra, Cialis, Trimix, Erect Aid pump, Penile Implant on 3/12/2009
