I have not had a problem with incontinence for many months now.  But, since I've completed radiation I have had to get up every couple of hours at night to urinate.  Detrol has not helped with this problem.  Last night was different.  I went to bed at around 10:00 and slept intil 0300 when I dreamed that I was urinating.  It woke me up as I was starting to pee in my underwear. Fortunately, I was able to stop it and run to the bathroom.  I hope this is not another side effect of the radiation treatment that is rearing it's ugly head.  It's been over a year since surgery and I never had a problem of wetting at night.  Anybody else had one of these "wet dreams" after radiation? Squid.

I'd had these "Mother Nature Waking Me Up Dreams" for Years.....Most common one is dreaming about peeing in a closet... Have no idea why and don't want to know... But I always wake up and go to the bathroom.

During my radiation and for about two weeks after, I did have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. I never did before radiation and I haven't since, but during I just couldn't hold it for as long. Thankfully it corrected itself. Most thankfully I always woke ip dry!

Happen to me once about 3 months after treatment. Never happened again. I wouldn't worry about it; it was probably a dream and your bladder relaxed.

Still dry, but RT definitely had me needing to get up more often at night.
I also get the need-to-pee dreams quite regularily, have had them all my life I'd reckon. In the dreams I am never able to pee - I'm often not even able to find a bathroom in the dream. However I wake up, go to bathroom and then drop back to sleep quite easily. I'm guessing my brain can still detect the bladder is full when I'm asleep, but can issue the "take a leak" instruction.
Only variation I've noticed in the last month is a couple of dreams when I've had the need to have a BM too!! On those occasions I have noticed I have had a lot of wind when I get to the bathroom to have the real leak. So brain must be getting s ignal from somewhere in the bowel now too.

Hope I can stay dry.

That was a catchy one line opener for a thread topic. Made me wonder what you were exactly talking about, with PCa wet dreams are usually the type you mentioned, anyway curiousity tickled the cat to look, didn't kill the cat either. (LOL) Hope like John T mentioned you might be lucky and have it pass.

I have occasionally "wet the bed" since I had the radiation, maybe 4 times in 3/12 years, to this end I sleep on a waterproof mat, one, for peace of mind and two, so I can relax and not worry if it happens.
