HI guys today I saw my neurologist becouse I was having vertigos.
everythhing is fine with me.
My neurologist asked me if I was taking any medication,and I told him I was using T-hormone.
my doctor was very upset and asked me why I want to put gasoline in the fire, I told him that my surgeon
gave it to me becouse for the last five years my psa=0.04.
I told my neurologist that before taking T hormone,and after taking T hormone I have not notice any change.
he convice me no to take T hormone,and I will fallow his advise.any thoughts will be appriciated thanks confused

I dunno, you appear to be six years out from your surgery based upon your signature. It is probably safe for your to take testosterone by now. I too have low T, level was at 230 the only time I had it tested. I am only 2 1/2 years out from surgery, all zeros so far. I have definate depression and lethargy, probably from the low T. My surgeon said he would give me T if I wanted it, my internist thought that was a bad idea. 2 different opinions for sure. My wife has major depression and has lost interest in sex for the most part, so once/month with trimix seems fine for us. If you and your wife want a more active sex life T maybe the answer. For the depression you can take pills, also have a bone scan to check for bone loss, I have mild bone loss, take 2 calcium pills/day. Taking T at your stage is probably safe......
My age= 52 when this all happened.
DRE=negative,
PSA went from 1.9 to 2.85 in one year, biopsy ordered,
Second biopsy on 08/14/08 found 2/12 cores positive for CA on R side, 1 core=5%CA, other core=25% CA, Gleason score= 6 both cores,
Bilateral nerve sparing robotic surgery on 09/11/08, pathological stage T2A,
No signs of spread, organ confined,
5 0's in a row, still use trimix for ED
