Have a 59 year old co-worker. She got off work several weeks ago and wasn’t feeling very well. She ends up getting a quadruple by-pass.
 
Some of the meds they gave her made her right foot go numb PERMANTLY.  So a few weeks IN the hospital for physical therapy so she can learn how to walk again.
 
Those old medical bills are just a pilling up…
 
OH WAIT. Her right foot takes a turn for the worse... So now they’re going to amputate the darn thing. Something seems really wrong with having a heart attack and loosing a foot. Maybe the good news is that this is all that she'll have to go through.
 
I hate reading bad news like this anywhere… But it sure helps to RANT a little and get it off your chest.
 
I wonder if I can redirect my Redcross/Japan donation to someone a lot closer to home mad

This is a horrible story.  Geez, it seemed everything that could go wrong, did.

Terrible story, I really feel for her.
Age: 58, 56 dx, PSA: 7/07 5.8, 10/08 16.3
3rd Biopsy: 9/08 7 of 7 Positive, 40-90%, Gleason 4+3
