I can wrap my head around that shocked

Making note of the key point-> Moderation

Then there's the part:
"Rather, it may be that candy consumers exercise more to make up for the additional calories they're taking in."

I do exercise but...but I wonder what would happen if I cut down on the calories. Maybe I'd have a better chance at losing the extra 15 pounds I'd like to shed turn

Moderation is the key. And they are mostly talking about chocolate, not all sweets, i.e., honey buns, ho-ho's, bags of cookies, half gallons of ice cream, etc.

I dont find eating sweets make me desire to exercise.

Ok lets have this come full circle with pomegranate M&Ms.

Or at least another thread how a few months of healthy eating is supposed to make up for a lifetime of not.

Where's that miracle supplement already??? There has to be something out there that can cure/prevent cancer, prevent bad breath, lose weight, and out stiffen viagra.

1.3 ounces is a good-sized candy bar. Yum.

Wonder if Costco still has those dark chocolate covered pomegranate jellies?

You know, David, sooner or later you're gonna see a top-rated medical oncologist specializing in PC.

He/she will then look at your diet and probably suggest a ton of changes!! Anyway, I figure that's what might happen to me, too.

Mel, I don't eat all the terrible in real life, not saying always healthy as some.

I eat lots of vegetables, but rarely eat fruits, mostly berries and bananas for fruit.
I eat lots of salads, and never use any salad dressings (have a fear of condiments)
Avoid almost all dairy products, never liked them, just little bits of mild cheese, like mozzerela, provelone.
I eat seafood anytime we can afford it, love shrimp, haddock, roughy, etc
I never eat fried foods
If I eat a steak, its never more than 6 to 8 oz pre-cooked.
I don't drink booze or beer or wine at all

So, its not all terrible.

No, it's not terrible at all.

I do like some dairy. I love cheese and maybe every 3 weeks I'll have Papa John's pizza (large, thin crust green olives, pineapple, tomatoes, it's good for 2 meals).

We have similar eating habits but I probably should eat more salads and vegetables. My wife has a steamer which works very good for vegetables. Still, I don't care for veggies (although I do love spinach).

I love fresh fruit but we rarely seem to have any.

Nothing like a big crock pot of lima's cooking all day with a chunk of ham or a ham hock, and some cut up onions in it.
