OK, I tried the plump, prick, massage, and constriction ring technique for the second injection of trimix..the first was done "cold" in Dr's office .25 got about 80% firmness  for one hour.  So with the new better technique I used .20  and got maybe 60% firmness for 10-15 minutes..what a waist!   Going back to no prep work and .25 or .30 cant see a big money savings in the differnece of .2 and .3 per injection out of a 10ml bottle that cost $50.  I will update wednesday on differnece of no technique and more meds versus alot of technique and a little less medication.
Sorry do not intend to sound down on the technique I know it works for some guys in here but I am VERY frustrated in the decreased responce to trimix.  forgive me for venting, and do not take my frustration personal for those that use the "technique"

Hang in there buddy. You will zero in on the right technique and dose, and when you do the frustrations that you have now will have been worth the testings.

Best of luck on finding that magic combo is short order.

Keep trying. First, you started too low, you should have used the same amount you used in your doc's office. Trimix is like starting a BBQ with starting fluid. Too little and it just fizzles. Too much and you call the fire dept. Once you find the right amount you will have some great tasting ... stuff :)

My amount is .36. If I use .3 it fizzles and .4 is too much. At first my doc started with .25 and it wasn't enough. He said I could go as high as .5 but only at .05 increments. I got to .3 and it worked 90% so I went to .36 and stayed there. That's good for 95% and 2 hours.

You’re doing fine; it just takes a little trial and error to hit the right dosage, as well as the proper technique for you. I had trouble hitting the vein when I first started. I had to go back to my uro and let him give me another lesson on how to inject, after my second session things started to get much better for me. My dosage is .18 and I’m good for at least two hours.

Good luck and hang in there.

Sorry it didn't work the first time. I did mention it was a matter of trial and error, didn't I. I also said that you could deliberately start low and work up. Don't be discouraged, the dose you used is just a starting point. I really think you need to keep one technique going until you reach success. Jumping from cold to plumping then back to cold confuses the issue and you end up not sure of just exactly what you did, besides there's always a chance of random failure with either process. Stick with one or the other until you know what works or don't. Don't be so quick to change and don't be disappointed if it takes a few times to 'dial' it in. One thing, personally, I think the plump and prick method gives you less chance of fiberous issues and overall penile health of being injected. With it, you get a very good indicator that the needle and the drug is in the right place. That, more than any cost savings, should be worth the extra prep time that you mention. sorry you have had a first time failure, don't give up.

My doc did the first injection with no mix in his office then I did it with .50 so he could watch my technique. After upping the bi-mix by .10, this past weekend I did .80 and had plenty of wood to stoke the fire. My wife and I had a good time and it lasted about 2 hours.

Prior tests of .60 and .70 weren't enough for penetration without some mechanical assistance so I'm stoked to fine the right amount. I found the right amount after 5 attempts so the moral of the story is stick with it and you'll get there.

BTW, the PGE gel was extremely uncomfortable for me so that's why I'm on the bi-mix.

When I first started with the trimix every 3rd or 4th injection would end in failure. After a while using the plump and stick I have had complete success every time over the last year. Lennybob you said you had trouble hitting the vein. I was told and read the instruction pamphlet posted by James C. that says you are not supposed to hit the vein. Is this right or wrong?

My doctor told me to start at .1 and increase it the following day if it didn't work., which it didn't. I upped it to .2 and that wasn't enough either. .3 gave me a 3 hour erection so i finally settled on.26 which works for 1 hour.

Kbars that's my understanding too. DO NOT inject into a vein. The idea is to go into either side around the 3 and 9 o'clock positions and inject the solution into an area that has no veins. That's why you avoid the top and bottom.
