I'm convinced now but only if I had her to operate it.

I am one a few people who has been on both sides of the Da Vinci robot. Last year at the AYA conference in San Francisco i walked over to the Intuitive Surgical booth. When a rep came up to me I mentioned that I was operated on with one of the devices. He asked who my surgeon was and low and behold he was at the booth talking to some engineers. After talking with my surgeon I was invited to use the demonstration unit on display. It was very easy to use and within minutes I was stacking tiny rings on tiny pliable posts.

I asked but none of the reps would let try it on their prostates. Didn't seem fair to me...

And to think I struggled with my decision.

I guess Patrick Walsh will need to revise his book now.

Thanks for the link.  Yes that is a high tech way to play a kids game.  The best youtube I saw with the robot was a demonstration in which it was used to take the skin off of a grape...Way cool.
