I was watching the Imus video Tony linked (btw how did Imus end up treating it?) when I saw this video which I liked very much.

Look at the expression on the face of the guy as teh surgeon reads him his pathology. I'll never forget hat moment myself.

I am not 100% certain, but I heard Don Imus elected for a holistic approach and has not been treated with conventional medicine. Given his age it may work out well for him.

Advanced Prostate Cancer at age 44 (I am 48 now)
pT3b,N0,Mx (original PSA was 19.8) EPE, PM, SVI. Gleason 4+3=7

Da Vinci Surgery ~ 2/16/2007
Adjuvant Radiation Therapy ~ IMRT Completed 8/07
Adjuvant Hormone Therapy ~ 28 months on Casodex and Lupron.
Undetectable PSA.

oh, I'm a little surprised he didn't take more conventional approach. How old is he? in his 60s, right? Looks like his approach is to eat habaneros. Not sure what to say really, I am a little surprised. WOuld love to hear more from him on this.

Found this

Also didn't realize Sliwa tried the holistic approach for a year with his sister as a result of listening to Imus on this. Sliwa's collapse during that tea party rally sure didn't sound like something any of us experienced as a result of PCa. Perhaps he was reacting to the food his sister was makig him eat. I know that a steady diet of habaneros would knock me out besides causing me to poop napalm.

When googling Imus and his holisitc approach most of the his I get are from the guy prescribing the habaneros using Imus as a testimonial for his approach.
