Just got back from my 15 month post SRT checkup and I went down to.19 from a .27 in October of last year. I am assuming that is good news with a continued downward trend. So 12/9 .5, 4/10 .44, 10/10 .27 and 5/11 .19.
I am also looking at Medrtoics Interstint for urinary control as medicines have not helped. Anyone with any experience on that procedure, would like to get your feedback.

Michael-
I went to their site - Medtronic InterStim Therapy,
www.medtronic.com/health-consumers/urinary-retention/important-safety-information/index.htm
- sounds kinda scary re: side effects - have you considered a more conventional approach with the sling therapy - Advance Sling -?

-good luck with your research
hugs

Down is great! You're about 1 drop behind me but you started higher. Mine just dropped below .1 after 13 1/2 months from SRT completion.

I found it hard to find studies saying how long before SRT response reached undetectable. A book entitled "Advanced Therapy of Prostate Cancer" authored in 2000 by Martin Resnick and Ian Thompson summarized a study indicating the average SRT psa response to reach undetectable is gradual taking between 2 and 48 months with a mean of 12 months. Lots of variation.

Looking forward to continued great news from and others!

Our best to you and the rest of the gang!
Jake
