I agree. Happy mother's day to every mother, mom, and mommy around.

My mother is 84, I feel fortunate that she is still with us.

Thanks guys. While I was not blessed with children, I like to think I take good care of my John and our cats (spoiled little monkeys).

To my fellow WoHW (Women of Healing Well), Happy Mother's Day...like Tony, I miss both our moms (John's and my own) very much.

Thank you TC - I feel blessed to be able to share the day with my mum who thankfully is in good health.
Got rather spoilt myself yesterday, with the first born giving me a card which said "Thank you for being a fabulous mum. I couldn't have asked for a better one", and the second born giving  me a "World's best mum" coffee cup. So it is one of those times when I think.....I must have done something right along the way! Thank you for your good wishes and Happy Mother's day to all - Hey Doting Daughter (mod) that includes you! xx tongue cheers, Lana
PS. Only one thing you got wrong in your 'up-there over us' world Tony, and that is that M's day was yesterday silly! Not today!! turn

Just got back from my mother's house. She has been sick with a stomach bug for several days, and had to cancel any Mother's Day dinner plan. I went grocery shopping for her, and she was craving a Subway's Veggie sandwich. Brought her a plant for her garden, and let her talk on and on. The card we mailed her still hasn't shown up and we only live 6 miles apart.
