Which treatment is best for you depends on your diagnosis and your age at diagnosis. In most cases, radiation and surgery have similar success rates. However, some of the side effects are different. In my case, I did extensive study on internet and reading some books. I decided on seed implant. ED and incontinence is usually milder for seed implant. Of course, there can be wide variation from person to person.

i suggest you read up on BT, IGRT and surgery and form some specific questions, and post your stats in your signature.  i had seeds, IGRT and lupron and it was rough.  now, 13 months later, i am starting to feel "normal".  my sexual function appears to be unimpaired, my penis is the same length as before and i've never been incontinent.

I used High Dose Radiation Brachytherapy. It is more tumor conformal and has less side effects  compared to surgery or Low Dose Permanent Seed Brachytherapy.
