about a year ago, I signed up to get their emails. I would then be able to click on interesting topic in their emails and read the articles (it only required a usercode and password).
Now, it won't do that. Seems I have to subscribe (about $275 per year). Forget it!

Yep, they went to subscription only, I've been trying to unsubscribe for a week but they keep coming.

I couldn't find anywhere to unsubscribe so I updated my profile and left the email box blank.

I have tried to unsubscribe as well since they went to a fee basis. I get one or two "alerts" a day and the artciles do not change enough over time to justify the cost.

Or just hang in there...

I contacted the site orner and founder. I let them know that I would like to cancel the email string and this was the reply from Uro Today:

"Dear Tony,
Thanks for your message. We are working on offering reduced
pricing for patients and advocates, as well as shorter duration
subscription for patients who are requesting this option. I expect to
have this offering within
two weeks.
Thank you for your message. And thank you for your patience. We will as
you request, cancel your emails. Please let me know if you would like to
be contacted once our reduced price offering is made available.

Personally I wrote and told them that they are a valuable resource but that even as a support group leader the price was too steep. i hope to see it drop soon enough and I will update this thread when I see the plan. Clearly they did not want to chase away the patients.

That's good news. I already deleted my email from my profile (actually, they wouldn't allow that so I put in a phoney email address).
Let us know if the drop their fee (it will have to be a major drop!)
Hey, maybe they can allow a group rate for HW folks?
