- that is one of the most comforting facts of HW is that it helps to reinforce "I AM NOT ALONE" and in many cases, "IT WILL GET BETTER"....
-the benefit I have with my work at the garden centre is that our customers range fro 4 months old to over 80 years old...
- two days ago, I was chatting with a couple and our conversation about
Prunus Cistena drifted - via my awareness pin on my suspenders- over to my fundraising through my artwork and this lovely couple, (in their late 70's) revealed that the wife was a 19 year survivor of Breast Cancer and the husband was a 16 year survivor of Prostate Cancer.
She noted how pleased that FINALLY there was some advertising and information out there for Prostate Cancer -and we were all in agreement that more has to be done to promote the awareness and support the trials that helps those in need.
-and for me, (and sharing with with you and others on HW), meeting these people reinforce "THERE IS HOPE"
