I went to my local Urologist Dr. S yesterday and after 10 years still in the ZERO Club.

We also discussed my AUS put in my Dr Montague at Cleveland Clinic
Dr S said all reports looked good and then he checked the AUS by checking where activation pump was and then applied pressure to the reservoir area and asked me to cough - NO LEAKS - so he was pleased with that.
We discussed the drips but I know most of them are do to not enough patience and shaking off .
Otherwise he was pleased with what he saw.
I thanked him for the stricture clean-out in Sept which forced me to get the AUS.
I was activated March 22, 2011 so little over two months and pleased.

The last subject we discussed was Testosterone  Levels and Supplements - saw allot of discussion on this here
There are several things to consider
1) Protocol was cancer free for 10 years before T supplements
2) There were several  concerns with T
     a) Cholesterol
     b) PC
     c) Heart disease
studies have shown T does not affect these
3) Benefit
Dr S did not recommend because most of the benefits were not quantified only qualified
If I take T - I feel stronger, hornier, more muscular, better - subjective but he hadn't read any studies which had measurables
Therefore, he did not prescribe T for his paitents

Well all is well that ends well

Congratulations, Tom, 10 years, many would be envious of that record. Like me, I see you endured your share of stricture problems, no fun, I know. Good luck in the next ten years

Tom, Zero for 10, that's great. Glad to hear the AUS is working too. I just got back today from Houston for my four month AUS implantation follow up. The AUS has been great continence wise but there was, at the begining, a burning pain that seemed to be from the site of the cuff. In the last month this has almost gone away. Since I had some pain and since it is not 100% gone, he did the cyctoscpoy that we had discussed earlier. He said my urethra is not being stressed or damaged and he said to keep doing the "break-in" strategy that I have been using. Next follow up is one year from now. I'm happy. Looks like both of us are happy AUS customers.
I don't understand much about T levels and what if anything to do about it and I don't even know what mine T is, BUT, for now I plan on leaving things as they are and maybe think about it later, if I get that notion.
Like your doc I can't quantify how I feel but subjectively I think I feel pretty good right now.
