I keep watching the upticks to my status of veteran member. Getting closer and closer. I would chime in on everything but I dont know anything about pads, radiation except for my D.E.S. sponsored man boobies, catheters, surgery or anything you poor guys have to go through. So, that said, if its about erections and high psa and fun stuff like hot flashes and how I fell in love with my uro doc after my ultrasound and last d.r.e. I am your guy. lol

Todd- you get veteran membership as inductee asap.....did you know that alot of people laugh at the DES as being veterinarian grade status? (so you are already a veterinarian member and me too). I do like your sense of humor and of course I thrive on humor it is the anti-PCa drug with best side effects of all and is f-r-e-e. Luckily my doc has a sense of humor and total honesty on the whole PCa game.

Gag me with a catheter your comments on the DRE and intimacy with the uro, well I gloved reading it (LOL). Better not go back there, he might like those boobs? Of course you can get boobs from casodex and other PCa drugs even....no warranties. Dr. Myers says 20% of men never get boobs, and he has no medical explanation of why that rarity exists with that group of patients. A friend of mine just got the boob reduction plan...the photos thereafter where TMI, two drainage like see through bags hanging and collecting wonderful stuff within them you have to wear for a few days....makes the twilight zone episodes look like non-fiction in comparison. A new category of Super Elite membership will be needed for like 15,000 to 20,000 posts!

Fairwind,
I am currently taking D.E.S. 1 mg daily with an aspirin. Zufus recommends that I take cumadin with it instead of aspirin but so far so good. My last psa was 3.24 up from 1.8 4 months previous. I am thinking about going back on lupron but that depends on my next p.s.a. in 4 weeks. For hot flashes they tell me that there is a pill you can take that helps. I simply slept with a small fan clipped onto my nightstand and had my face towards it at night. I also slept in 600 thread count cotton sheets with no other blankets. I am a pipefitter welder by trade and I am use to working in extreme heat so perhaps the hot flashes did not bother me so much. Hopefully I will not have to worry about switching treatments. I do believe my onco doc wants my p.s.a. to get above 10 so he can put me on provenge. That is kaiser's guide line to be eligible.

I thought I would sneak in and say hello on this thread.  I try to fly under the radar and non-dectectable and chose a name that reflects that very much (LOL).  eyes

We have all kinds of moles, special guests, special ops scanning these forums for inside information....I see some of this information is more like 'top' secret or should be.
I will go back under cover for now and be the best lurker I can be....

Methinks our Mole-Mar "lurker" is Zufus in disguise.  Betcha I'm correct.
