Hi Gold Horse,

I don't have any answer for you, but it's great to see your name and I wanted to take this opportunity to say hello.

Nice to see that string of zeros. I hope in six years I can show the same!

Yes, I am only 6 weeks post surgery and I have noticed the same thing. I understood orgasms were going to be dry but it is not the case with me. A bonus I guess and very curious.
Age: 55 Ontario, Canada
PSA: 1.2
Dec 2010: Family Dr. found lump on routine physical (not there 1 year prior)
Feb. 6 2011 biopsy: 3 of 11 cores, T2a, Gleason 6 (3,3)
Urologist recommended "watchful waiting" ...back to my family doctor he recommended surgery.
Back to Urologist asked him to refer for third opinion (he did so reluctantly)
3rd opinion: Urologist recommends surgery
April 15: open radical prostatectomy
April 27: catheter removed...absolutely no ED issues and a little incontinence.
May 6 2011: Pathology report excellent, cancer confined to prostate, Gleason score remained at 6!

generally, the cowper's gland is not removed in surgery and can still work and set up the old precum lubricant
- you do not ejaculate anymore - you climax ( since everything semen-wise stays inside due to the cut tubes)- the exact terminology may be a bit of semantics here though...
- mr. pecker is just shooting blanks - with a side order of cowper's lube...

happy thoughts,

I am so glad you posted this! I am 8 months post RRP have had dry orgasms up till recently. I started injections 2 months ago and they work everytime for me so far. The big difference is with orgasm with full erection from injection I "shoot a load" it is just pre-cum from the cowpers gland I know but I was pretty excited to see that! and yes I know this cause not everytime I inject is with wife, sometimes it is just me all alone to do the job...lol.
But I have noticed more and more of the lubricant pre-cum when masterbating without injections even now, I can not get a full erection without injections but it seems to be getting somewhat better. and the amount of pre-cum seems to be increasing all the time also.
age 44 when diagnosed 45 now
RRP 9-28-10
gleason 3+3
pathology report clear
11-1-10 PSA 0.02
3 month 0.00
6 month 0.00
12-1-10 noctural erections, not very strong maybe 20% none prior to Osbon pump use
3-30-11 Trimix 1st injection works GREAT! and more nocturnals and even some spontanious erections plus responding a little bit now to oral meds!!! The trimix really started things going!
