Big day today...had my Uro appointment an hour ago and he removed both the catheter and the JP Drain.  The drain miraculously stopped output early this morning...just in time for my appt.  Both came out without a hitch.  I haven't peed yet but it feels so good to be free of the tubes.  Doc says three-four sets of Kegals daily and return in two weeks for first post-surgical PSA and we'll talk about erections then.  Just wants me to lay low and heal for the next couple weeks before taking Cealis and attempting to awaken  the one eyed monster.  Feeling much better now!

Thanks guys. I had a nap for about an hour and a half this afternoon, have peed four times now on my own and my pad is dry as a bone. No stinging or anything...the peeing seems to be getting better with a more powerful stream each time I go. I'm almost giddy. Just had a big ole glass of wine to celebrate. Can't wait to see how the night goes. Plan on wearing a diaper to bed just in case, but if I manage to get through the night dry I will be extatic!

Just a quick progress update. I had a great night's sleep last night without the cath and drain. Got up once at 2:30 to pee then right back to bed. Got up at 6:30 and was dry as a bone. Don't want to jinx myself here, but haven't experienced any drips or anything other than complete bladder control so far. The stream while peeing seems weak at times, but I'm going to assume this is a function of healing and will improve with time. Very pleased with this progress so far.

Well if this is still a horse race your pulling ahead :>
I am still dribbling a little, a squirt now and then, dry at night.
I think its because of my UTI, or at least I would hope so.
Its still burning a little, but not as much as yesterday.  My wife
says I often raise my legs while sleeping.  I think thats were I got
the backwash.  But good going thus far for you.  I am coming up
from behind though.  I am on the same sheet as you on erections.
I am not taking pills until off of antibiotics.  Those erections pills are
sure expensive.
