Anyone out there with any advice on the night leaking issue? I'm now about a year and nine months past my robot surgery and still having night time incontinence. I've been pad free for over a year, with just relatively minor stress leaks during the day. For a while it was four to six weeks between night leaking, but this has gradually increased instead of decreased, so that it's now a couple of weeks to a couple of days between incidents, the last one a couple of nights ago at a nice hotel! My GP has referred me to another urologist specializing in this, but I REALLY do not want anything more stuck up either end for them to "test". Seems like I should be well past this from what I'm reading. Quantity or type of fluids don't seem to be much of a factor, or time of consumption. The only consistent thing are those darn "pee dreams", the end of which always results in waking up wet!

Thanks for any advice!

I've seen that spicy diet adds to my fairly infrequent (maybe 3 per month) nighttime leaks. A Mexican lunch doesn't bother me, but move it to dinner and trouble awaits.
Likewise a beer - before 5, ok, but much later, and ...

After reading some old posts on the topic I have started back on Imamprine at a higher dose. Getting a little more sleep and less leaking. I was like you, no more sticking anything in me for awhile.

This has happened to me at irregular intervals for the last 4 years, has not happened for 8 months, but even now I sleep with a waterproof blanket under me, I even take on holidays, and visiting relatives and friends, My Uro said if it became more frequent he would give me something, said that alcohol can make it happen, who knows.

I have the same problem with the night leaks. Seems to be worse when I take a sleep aid such as Xanax or one of the PM meds. Dr. says it relaxes things too much which cause the leakage.

Thanks for the comments guys. I suppose it's nice to know I'm not the only one. It would be even nicer to know that there is a way out of this! It is SO frustrating as I'm sure you guys would agree.

Here's hoping for dryer nights and better dreams!

My guess is sleeping aids. I take this nature aid type from costco, it will occasionally give bad dreams, not incontinence, but shows they do have an influence on subconcious. Its madw from different types of herbs. They do relax the mind tho and helps me sleep. I assume you dont take acidic drinks prior to bedtime and empty bladder be fore.

I have previously mentioned the fact that I have had this happen to me over the last 2 years, but fortunately not in the last 3 months.
It has happened perhaps 6 times, and usually involves a dream of wanting to pee, them waking and finding a damp patch. Not too much of a leak but enough to wake me up before it got too serious.
As I said I am now 2 years out from DaVinci, and no wet dreams in the last few months, so hopefully time seems to cure.
I am 99.9% leak free during the day and was pad free at about 4 months, but never had more than a dribble at the worst.
All the best from England.

I have not had any issues with night time leaks.
However, since surgery I drink nothing past 6:30-7pm.
I go to sleep about 10 pm, go several times before sleeping.
Once or twice at night down from 5-6 a night
I do drink tons of fluids during the day.
