Above the bridge? You mean there's people up there? smilewinkgrin
We drove across from Wisconsin and down thru the upper, across the bridge and out a few years ago, middle of summer, really beautiful, but we were using campgrounds and an rv and the flies and assorted pests about eat us up. Still a beautiful place, though

I would LOVE to meet you. But I am just not inclined to drive 3 hours. Again, if you are in the area...or nearby...

(Rochester Hills is not nearby)

Mel,

I haven't finalized a date yet, but probably in July I'm driving from my home in NW Chicago suburbs to Marshall, Michigan. Is that far from you?

Mel, You posted CCR lyrics the other day, so in response to your thread here, I offer these lyrics from Simon and Garfunkel:
"Kathy," I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh
"Michigan seems like a dream to me now"
It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw
I've gone to look for America."

Thanks for the reminder. We always liked those lyrics as we live near Saginaw.

Casey: We are about 3 hours from Marshall. However, are you going to be touring Michigan? The Soaring Eagle Casino in MT. Pleasant seems to be a very popular destination (if that sort of thing interests you). We are not far from there.

Also, we will be out of town roughly from 7/6-7/20. We will be in California and I'll be seeing Scholz at that time (and giving you all a complete report).

Very wise for anyone who has any inkling of a "special" case of PC to see one of the experts...and I know you've sought out several specialty opinions.

While you are there, ask Dr Scholz about this article on his website titled, "How Prostate Cancer Can Extend Your Life"...cuz that's what most of us want to do, isn't it??   While it's mostly a lot of common sense, anyone who wants to help stack the odds in their favor in fighting PC (like me, maybe like you?) should probably closely follow these "simple rules" (as the author calls them).

Casino is not my kind of thing; I'm more the out-of-doors type. Thanks for making a suggestion, though.

Mel,
I noticed that this thread dropped off to page 2, and I wanted to bump it back up so that you saw the suggestion to ask Dr Scholz about the article.
I think it's an outstanding article, and one that all of us could learn to LIVE by!
best wishes on your trip...

Thanks. I'll be doing a lot of listening and a lot of asking. I do get the sense that Scholz is big into diet and exercise in addition to all the latest studies.
