I will be getting my fourth HT injection next Friday. Within the last six weeks, I've started experiencing cluster migraine headaches. Imitrix (50 mg) does help if I take it early. This is on my list of things to discuss with my uro next week.

Has anyone else experienced this while on HT? Headaches are on the SE list for Lupron.

Hoping for another zero

My uro wants me on HT for two years. I am 1/3 of the way. I am not convinced that my headaches are caused by the Lupron. I used to get migraines prior to PCa, but they are more frequent now.

This duration is another topic of discussion next week.

I did not experience that side effect either. My biggest problem was libido but haha it wasn't really a problem at the time because I had no libido. I had experienced fatigue but I kept running and swimming and was able to combat that. Please get the headaches checked out.

peace to you
Dale

kbota:  Two years is a long trek but I believe it will be worth it.  I have found exercise to be a life saver while on this stuff.

It looks like you're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at your PCa, tht's my approach also, I think I'm just wired that way.

Hang tough, its a long road but hopefully it will pay off in the end for both of us.

HI kbota, before adt i used to get maybe 2-3 migraines per year then suddenly i started getting one per week. This paticular time in my life was very stressfull ( way before i had pc) i was advised that migraines have many triggers..i.e coffee...lighting..ect.I was also advised to check my eyesight as this to can bring on migraines.I appreciate that adt does list headaches as an se but maybe rule out some of the other possibilities also.
