After going from 0.02 to 0.09 in 6 months, I didn't have any positive vibes for this one.
My uro does the "three increase" rule, but he starts at 0.01, so back in September for another. Am investigating medical oncologists, but am getting pushed back for referrals. The good ones that are "in-network" for me require them.

Oh man.
I don't have any words of wisdom for you but I do have a room to let for fifty cents.
Can you manage without a phone, pool, or pets?
What else can I say?

Found out today that I have a pool and a second park - apt complex type, but had never been to either. Pads don't go well with pools anyway.

I'll check out the room in Sept. - that trip stays on the calendar!

sorry, 142, my friend.

think we both been afraid you were going down that path. i agree with your doc, about doing another test in Sept to get a 3rd reading. that will give you some time to think through your options and doctor choice if you are seeking a medical oncologist.

good luck, there are a couple of us a few steps ahead of you, we will be glad to share any info with you.

David,

How did we get on this highway? Wrong turn there somewhere. Beginning to think this is a Mad Max movie gone bad.

Ah that's a real bummer. Best to wait for the third test for confirmation though. Bloody disease gives me the craps ------- dangles a carrot of hope that it's gone then kicks you right in the nuts again. If your next step is RT then here's to it being nailed.

Gosh Darn 142, I hate hearing this news more than you know. As Kbota mentioned there were concerns at the April GFMPH. Will just have to see what the next test shows. Roger and I are making our plans to be at WorriedGuys in Sept hope to see you there.

Confirm psa tests is always a first thing to do.  Read up on Lupron, just in case.

Zufus,

This was a re-test provoked by the April 0.09, which already had me concerned.

All,
Yes, I was already concerned in April, and now it appears rightly so. Thanks all. I guess besides upping the search for the oncologist, next news will be at the GFMPH September weekend.
