As I am new to this board, I hope I am not getting out of line with this post. As I search through the posts, there are many people whose story I would like to pursue. However, many seem to come and go, leaving only their words as evidence of their passage. It would be so great to be able to connect to them via email, and also to know just where they are located. I totally understand a desire for privacy, but my guess is most who post are already reaching out, so contact might be welcomed?

Leroy, here's a start for the locations:

www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=35&m=1368720&p=1&ord=d

As for contact, it's a personal choice whether member put their email address out there. I would think that if they list it, then they are open to contact. When reading posts, look for the little envelope onder their name, on the left side. If it is colored, then they have opened their email. Good luck

Hi Leroy, and welcome.

Two parts to answer your question.

First, it is beneficial to post your info and questions right into threads like this, because then you get the benefit of many different experiences responding.  We are not doctors, only fellow patients, so don't mistake our comments & observations as any sort of replacement from what you might get from your doctors.  (There is, of course, a benefit and a cost...the "cost" that you have to keep in mind is that this IS the internet, and you might get some goofy responses.)  Another benefit of posting threads is that they become a legacy for others, like yourself, to re-read later and learn from.

Second, some, but not all, members have included an email contact in their profiles.  When you are logged into HW, if you click on their names, it will take you to their profile.

best wishes...

edit:   typo; replaced a mistaken “do” with the intended “don’t”…that was a goofy mistake on my part

Thanks - I added my name and location to the list, although I think it's already in my profile. My head is just doing cartwheels, and I get some relief / comfort emailing with a few who I've made contacts with.
