The biggest concern I would have had was the availability of the treatment within reasonable distance and whether my insurance would pay for it. Lots of guys have to work around unimaginative insurance companies and geographical obstacles for anything beyond the 'norm'.
Sadly, my knowledge of the disease and what was available was woefully lacking when I had my treatment, so I was not even aware of it existing, much less whether it could be used to treat my disease.
