Yes, it is Gleason 9/10. I don't understand why because it seems, at least from the paperwork I got from the Bone, X-Ray, MRI and Cat Scan show no problem, other than the one I mentioned: CT Scan Wrote "Suspicious for Metastatic Disease" regarding the Upper Sacrum. So, why 9/10. By the way is it because out of the 12 pieces taken out of my Prostate, 12 were Positive for Cancer. Seems everything else, like Kidneys, Bowels, Spleen, Adrenal Glands etc. said "Grossly Appear Withing Normal Limits" What in the world does that mean, "GROSSLY" Wish me luck. Yesterday I got a needle shot of Lurpon, so far no after effect other than a slight plain where they shot me. Today, the pain has gone by, byes. Doc says to stop the one I used and will stop taking it, 15 days after the Lupron. I took this 15 days before, for a total of 30 days, it is Bicalutamide 50 Mg. In 4 months, I get another shot of Lupron. Thank Goodness for the Canadian Health plan: No costs whatsoevder for anything, other than $4 for the Pharmacist.
You must have a different Canadain Health plan then here in PEI. I was offered some sort of discount if I did not have insurance, but it was far from free. Oh and you'll soon feel some of the SEs!
Gleason grade 8-10

External Beam Radiation + Radiation Seed Implants + Hormone Treatment.
50mg of Bicalutamide tablets per day and I'm scheduled to get 22.5 mg Lupron Depot injections every 3 months
PSA value: 5.5 May 10,2011 after 10 days of 50mg of Bicalutamide
