Actually, the 2.67 PSA was the highest I've ever had. I've been checked annually for about 15 years. The Urologist got concerned with a lump he discovered during DRE. I actually tried to talk him into waiting a year to see what it might be - due to the low PSA and no other symptoms. I'm actually glad he convinced me to go ahead with the biopsy. I'm hoping the low PSA means it's unlikely the PCa has penetrated the prostate, but I know there are some cancers that don't express with a high PSA. I'm one of those who would never have been caught in time to treat with the proposed new testing/treatment for PCa.
Thanks everyone for the welcome....even though I wish I was still in the "other club". Oh well, no sense looking back. Now it's full speed ahead to fix this thing.
