I was suprised when I went to Manchester, NH a couple of weeks ago (proudly sporting my new stache) to find very few people there who were aware of Movember. I had assumed that it would have a similar following as here. Around here if you have a moustache people automatically assume it's for Movember.
BTW - I was interviewed earlier in the month for a story in our local paper about Movember. I wasn't crazy about the idea of being in the paper, but how could I say no to anything that would increase awareness. It's here on page 12.

DIC complications during surgery (17 units of blood/plasma)
Pathology: 3.5cm tumour, no capsular invasion, lymph nodes negative
Nerves were not spared :(
Catheter removed 12/26/2010
PSA currently undetectable :D
