Peter did some house cleaning the other day and in doing so he vacated some moderators if they had not posted in a while. One of them was here at this forum and very active a while back. Doting Daughter is now a veteran member and no longer a moderator. I would like to take the time to thank her so very much for the love and support she has shown here at HW. Many of you haven't had the interaction with her that I have enjoyed, but she is a very kind and loving lady whose father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. She had her first baby in the oven when she got here, and after adding another she has a lot going on as a new mom. So I fully understand her heart is where her family is. But let me say this:

Chayna,
Thank you for helping out around here and for being who you are. You are my forever friend and it is a pleasure to have ever met you, even if just online in the "grumpier old men's" forum. (and in Facebook). This is one of those "be careful for what you wish for" jobs and you did it with kindness, integrity, and love in your heart.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Tony

Wow two little ones to look after. Priorities have altered and they naturally come first. Many thanks for the fine and light handed touch as moderator.

Wow! I will start with a huge thank you! When my father was diagnosed with PC, back in 2007, hw was an answer to our prayers. I came here for answers and support and during my journey here, I've made friends that I will hold close to my heart, always.
I can't even begin to thank all those that have supported me and my family on this journey. There is no question my father's treatment plan would have been different if it were not for hw and I am forever grateful for the treatment path and team we decided on. Today, his PSA is undetectable and we are counting our blessings. Unfortunately, with a family history of PC, our journey will never end with this horrible disease, but for now, as Tony said, I've got my hands full with two toddlers. Again, I can't thank you all enough, and will definitely stay in touch! Wishing you all a magical holiday and a 2012 filled with undetectables, friendship and love!!

As the others have shared, thank you so much for all that you have contributed. Your hands are full while most of us are enjoying the empty nest sysndrome. Have a great holiday.
